Young Gassers Golf Tournament
The Annual VAPGA Young Gassers Golf Tournament will be held Sunday, July 19th at Red Wing Lake Golf Course in Virginia Beach Virginia. This is a “Captains Choice” format tournament with tee times beginning at 10:04am. A boxed lunch and beverages will be provided for all players. Proper shoes and dress required and don’t forget to bring the sun block! Registration fee includes range balls, cart and greens fees.

The purpose of this tournament, aside from catching up with old friends and playing golf, is to help raise money for the Young Gassers Scholarship Fund. By sponsoring a golf hole for $125.00 you will help us to continue to offer a high number of scholarships to members and member dependants meet their scholastic goals. This year alone, over 20 students applied for a VAPGA scholarship and we awarded a record number of 18 scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year. From the Virginia Beach Oceanfront: South on Pacific Ave., which becomes General Booth Blvd. Turn left on Birdneck Rd. 2 miles from Rudee Inlet. Turn right on Prosperity Road. The course is on the left.
From I-264: Take exit 22, Birdneck Road. Turn right on Birdneck Road. (Within approx. 3 miles) turn right on Prosperity Road. Golf course is about 1/2 mile on the left.
