About

The 14th conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies 2023 will be held in Washington D.C. at the grand Hyatt from January 16th to 19th. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES). The attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the latest technology issues, trends, and innovations for the self-driving grid of the future.

2023 Theme

The ISGA NA 2023 theme is ‘Moving to a Self-driving Grid.’ With all the drastic changes that the electric power system is undergoing, there is need for innovation in design, integration, operation, testing and evaluation of new technologies. Research on the future of electric power systems shows that the significant transformations are making the system too complex with many active control points in the grid that are hard to manage manually. With a focus on the theme, the attendees of the ISGA NA 2023 will interact and discuss the different drivers, new structures, key enablers, and advanced technologies that can help move the needle on grid automation.
