Our Verdict
The Honda EG5000 is a conventional gas-powered generator with a peak wattage of 5000 and a run time of up to 11 hours at 1/2 load. With two 120V 20A GFCI outlets, one 120V 30A outlet, and one 120/240V 30A outlet, the EG5000 is perfect as a power supply during an emergency or for use while camping or tailgating. The Honda EG5000 is also equipped with a recoil start, a fuel tank capacity of 6.3 gallons, and a noise level of 70 dBa.
